Queenstown, New Zealand

Queenstown, New Zealand is absolutely one of my favourite places I’ve ever been! After spending only a few days there, it took everything in me not to cancel my flight back home to Canada and live there forever!

Queenstown is basically New Zealand’s banff… without the commercialization, fancy hotels, or tour busses. It built around a lake, and surrounded by 'The Remarkables’ (a mountain range). It is known for it’s beauty, adventure, and nightlife, and I was lucky enough to take part in all three! A couple of must see activities:

-Bungy!! You must must must bungy jump: Queenstown has 3 bungys, I decided to take on 'The Ledge’

-Party! There are pubcrawls almost every night, and they almost always have a fun theme so people can dress up and be silly! Our theme was Christmas

-You should also take a day-trip to the Milford Sound, one of New Zealand’s most famous fiords. The bus ride there alone was through some of the most rugged beautiful wilderness I’ve ever seen, and then a boat takes you through the fiord surrounded by waterfalls, seals, and penguins!

-Take a walk around the many walking trails, especially in the morning to catch a killer sunrise!
